Does anyone have any thoughts on credit card use?  Is it logical way to buy things or do they serve little purpose except putting people in debt?

but you gotta remember, having a debit card doesn't mean you are not gonna be overdrawn if you use more than what you have in your account. Unlike credit card, you have credit limit, and you know you  can't go over your limit :) its always good to have credit card, but use it in moderation like what stevep421 said.
